Program Description:
There are two type of internship programs offered by Yonsei:
 
Research Internship Corporate Internship
This program is designed for highly qualified and motivated YISS students who are interested in research projects or advanced coursework. Yonsei Summer Research Internship program offers selected students the opportunity to participate in research projects or work as an intern in research centers or organizations at Yonsei University. The Korea Summer Internship Program offers YISS students direct exposure to global corporate settings in the heart of Seoul, Korea. Taking advantage of Yonsei University’s vast alumni networks and strong ties with business and educational partners, the program provides students with the opportunity to gain professional work experience and to build social networks in some of the world’s leading companies and organizations.  Do not miss this opportunity to advance your career during this summer.

Costs:
  • NW tuition for 6- 12 credits
  • NW administrative fee: $125

Program Benefits

  • Earn six (6) credit points: 3 credits for YSRI internship and 3 credits for a YISS course

  • About the Student Village Foundation of Turku offers several housing options. Please see here for more information. All rooms have bathrooms and access to cooking and laundry facilities. Married student and family housing is available.
  • Vasa Student housing is situated nearby, 1-2 km from campus. Students are housed in single rooms within a shared apartment with a shared kitchen and a private bathroom. Married/co-habitation student housing is available.
 

Additional Notes:
  • Internship placement is not guaranteed. Final decisions will be made by individual company. Please be prepared with an alternate course approved from your home university in case you are not accepted to work as an intern.
  • Applicant may apply for up to 5 internship positions(KSIP&YSRI).
  • For the detailed job description of each position, please refer to the list of sponsoring companies file attached.
  • The applicants should pay the full tuition for the YISS by April 29, 2016. Exchange students do not need to pay the tuition to Yonsei.
  • Incomplete or late submissions and payment will not be taken into consideration for the internship.
