  • You can apply for University accommodation as soon as you’ve received the offer of a place from BCU
  • As an international student you are guaranteed Birmingham City University accommodation for the duration of your course and our Accommodation Services team can help find the right place for you.
  • We encourage all new international students go into University halls of residence because it gives you the opportunity to meet other students and get to know the local area.
  • University Halls of Residence for study abroad students may be a short bus or train ride away from City Center Campus.
  • If you decide that you want to stay in private accommodation we have our own letting agency - 'Birmingham City Student Homes,' which is the best way to find private accommodation.

  • Our Birmingham City University partnership offers a variety of courses in different majors. 
  • The university offers facilities such as a student union, library, and sports centre. Conveniently placed, with Birmingham International Airport nearby and first-rate transport connections to London and the rest of the UK, it is one of the biggest universities in the country, with around 25,000 students
  • There's plenty to do during Welcome Week held in September, so make sure you check out our busy events programme, covering all campuses.
  • January entry applicants will also be welcomed at Orientation as an informative and fun introduction to living in the UK and studying at Birmingham City University.
  • We offer a ‘Meet and Greet’ Service on specific dates at Birmingham Airport.
