  • Housing
    • Shared apartment or house; independent apartment/studio in a private residence; private, independent apartment/studio; home stay; state student hostels.  Rooms are generally furnished and equipped.  Costs typically range from 
    • 350-500€ per month.  The ESC Rennes 
    • Accommodation Department will contact all incoming students by email once acceptance is complete. 
  • Meals
    • A variety of inexpensive student restaurants are available, in addition to numerous local restaurants. 
Additional Notes:
  • About 300 international students attend ESC each year. Student clubs, resource centers, multimedia centers and more are located throughout campus, in a building that is open 24 hours a day, 6 days a week (something you don't find common in Europe)! Classes are late August or early September to late December; mid-January to mid/late May.

Academic calendar 2018 / 2019:
  • Fall semester: Beginning of September 2018 – End of December 2018
  • Spring semester: Undergraduate level 4 and Postgraduate level 5: Beginning of January 2019 – End of April 2019

Orientation Week – COMPULSORY for all international students:
  • The International Relations Office provides an orientation programme for all International students the week before classes start. Sessions are compulsory and cover application for residence permit, health insurance, banking, internet provider, mobile phones, bus pass, academic expectations and standards.

Deadlines for the nomination of exchange students:
  • Fall semester:  20 May 2016
  • Spring semester: 14 October 2016 

Deadlines for the receipt of applications and other documents of exchange students:
  • Fall semester: 30 May 2016
  • Spring semester: 21 October 2016
  • ONLY complete application pack sent by the Host institution will be accepted.
  • Application form and supporting documents are to be sent by post. 
Course registration:
  • There will be an on-line course registration before arriving in Rennes (in June for the fall semester and in November for the spring semester).
  • Students will receive by email the login and password for the online course registration.
  • Minimum courses to be taken per semester:
    • Undergraduate programme level 3 : 6 business courses
    • Undergraduate programme level 4: 3 business courses
    • Undergraduate programme taught in French: 3 business courses
    • Postgraduate programme level 5: 3 business courses
      • No changes of courses will be accepted (unless clashes occur).
    • Learning agreements will be finalized (changes to the original learning agreement) at the beginning of each semester.
